do all reel reel tape machines look like owls?
happy birthday to JC eh?
Lovely stuff. I remember this being on funnily enough...strange the things that stick in your head...
I could do with picking up one of the usb tape decks. I have so much stuff on cassettes. I don't have any of my old vinyl anymore but I've several boxes in the cupboard filled to the brim with cassettes.....
(plans next purchase...)
This is amazing. I had no idea it even existed. Thank you so much!

And what's more, we all finally get a glimpse into Dearest Ally's sitting room! Lovely carpet...
Wow! An amazing find..
According to The "In Session Tonight" bible this was catually recorded in August 1984 and there were 4 tracks - you're missing a version of "Ain't That Always The Way".
By the way "I Like It Like That" is actually a cover of Mike Nesmith's "Different Drum" - later popularised by The Lemonheads
Oh and teh line-up for the session featured a pre-Smiths Craig Gannon! (others were Chris Bell on Drums and Paul Heard on bass)
Fact check OVER!
ah ha- francis thankyou - i knew i knew that song but i just couldn't remember what the hell it was.
