Alright Ally? Thanks for your concern sweetheart. We are mostly keeping fine. Terry and Lou is seeing things out in Hyde Park; there ain't a lot of room, but you have to make do. Some of the girls has headed over Battersea, though Col, as you know, will not go south of the river. Dot and me is dividing our time between The Serpentine and up in Hampstead, though I ain't keen on all them media types, to be honest. They say the old pond'll be back by summer and better than ever, whether it will or no, who can say? We are trying to keep our spirits up and like I say, thanks for your thoughts darling.
It's all right, we understand - I do hope you've been able to sleep well through all this though.
Thanks for the Marvelettes.
oooh, Catcher In The Rye moment. And the marvellous Marvelettes. Holden Caulfield would no doubt have approved.
oooh ta ever so for letting me know ducky and you be careful in that hampstead won't you now they're a funny lot up there. have you thought of trying that lovely spot in regents park between the cafe and the rose garden? i know it's not home but it's very nice
It's all right, Ally, they're around the other side of the lake, they've only part drained it.
