I was half expecting you to keep the Jimmy Webbs coming with Up Up And Away.
I think I Want You Back is a different beast from The Bottle. We know that Michael Jackson has never had the experience that the lyrics describe because he's an 11 year old boy. So we can just fill our ears up with that explosion of pure joy, and love the sound of him singing his heart out, without having to worry about him breaking his actual heart. (That came later. Ours too.) Whereas GSH knew what he was singing about...
Some of the tunes that make me happiest aren't really even songs. Like U-Roy's gleeful babbling over Chalice In The Palace. Or the theme in John Coltrane's 'Moment's Notice'.
