mondo - no no no , but i wouldn't put it past them. it's the only god track on the love music lp.
spud - pretty much everything with a 66 in it is ace but the record boys all seem to love stillness best. cos it's rare. and it's got that ace version of for what it's worth on. ye me le and fool on the hill are my faves. there's a good essential on amazon for a fiver if you need an intro and more sergio here http://dusty7s.blogspot.com/2007/10/what-world-needs-now.html there's the 70s ones like zanzibar on a few peterson complialtions too but the rest of the later stuff is pretty dire. and obviuosly that timeless thing is an abomination x
Are you on a break then? Well - I wishes tha' well. Oh sorry, I've just watched the Northern kittens, it must be rubbing off on me. That one on the xylophone's a bit useful, I'll give him that x
Nothing to do with this but, Ally darling, who else could I turn to in order to share the news that somebody has just found my blog with a google search for 'morrissey porn'. Was it you?
I know what you mean I've been back to this shop several times it must be a bl**dy good lunch they are on. Is there someone we cna write to about their customer service! ;)

Dammit but you're right x
Like that tune but only got a cover by East West Connection - so cheers!
Where's a good place to start with Sergio Mendes? And is there a reason that that Timeless CD keeps turning up in the cheap racks?
Right, got to dig out some Dolphy now...
By the light of the silvery moon ally - you're only right.
Is this from the album with Chigaco's 'If You Leave Me Now' on it?

I'm very partial to Brazil '65, featuring the lovely Wanda de Sah.

How did it find your blog with that search criterion, more importantly?
'Cause Missy here left a comment about morrissey porn :)
Everyone KNOWS Dearest Crash's is THE place to go for the finest in Morrissey porn.
I miss Miss Ally when she's gone
I miss her 'tittivations'
I miss her love of Central Point
Her crackly soul rotations.
I miss her type all lower case
And sparing with the commas;
I miss polari, all those words,
Like khazi, troll and bona
This blogging life without her here
Is tawdry, wan and senseless
Come back Miss Ally and please bring
Some more Sergio Mendes.

Amen to that, Dearest Wee Davy. Amen, with a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat.
Out of the mouths of babes...
