Ah I like a bit of Linx. Last time someone said that to me I thought they were partial to a bit of jazz funk until they brandished an aerosol and I skeedaddled. Best thing about Sketch was that he joined 23 Skidoo and stayed with them for eons, which is infinitely cooler than his partner ending up as a voice coach on some Pop Idol thing (or so I'm told).
...and I've still got my picture sleeve seven of Thrown Away The Key. Linx made terrific Brit pop soul.
No need to wait for Sketch to join 23 Skiddoo to rate his bass playing either - he sounds great on all those Linx singles too, like a homegrown Bernard Edwards.

Blimey you can hear where Spandau lifted the Paint Me Down, Chant sound from can't you.

David Grant! I have a trio of singles (this, Intuition and So This Is Romance) knocking around somewhere. I do like a bit of Linx.
