There was a 45RPM version of this song stateside that was on the white & blue London label. That version is nowhere to be found. It opened with an up tempo chorus and that recording was much more lively.
my how i'd love to hear that. mind you the US version of what kind of fool am i doesn't really do it for me so perhaps we're best just sticking with the original. ta for the tip off sir x
