When we used to visit me ol' nan down Dalston way I used to love the deep pink bin bags they used, rather than drab black ones us Sarfenders were lumbered with..
They just seemed so Sesame Street, funky and cosmopolitan - funnily enough as the Fenchurch flyer was shunting through Limeouse last week I noticed that in that borough, they use lovely purple Wheely Bins and thought why can't we..etc...etc

*sigh* How I loved this show.
It still makes me chuckle whenever I think of 'Jerry Aid' and that pale blue baseball cap (which isn't often, admittedly).
*is still trying to get over Mondo's desire for 'deep' pink bin bags, frankly*
oh you know you'd love them too
